Today was my Believers Baptism! :)

"And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him" Matthew 3:16 KJV Amen!
I finally feel, full and statisfied in my spiritual walk, I have lots to keep walking and growing... But this was a great step.  I was the first out of 6 or 7 and I spoke my life-verse, 1Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will through Christ Jesus". NIV
it was great, the song they were playing was wonderful, "Nobody Greater"

So yesterday we had a staff meeting and they told everyone about me leaving and moving to Hawaii con Dios adelante.  Its crazy in exacly a week it'll be my last day at work, I work at an afterschool program at an elementary school.  Anyways after the meeting, I had a skype date with Lindy (one of my friends from my first summer in Hawaii) she and I are planing on living together in Hawaii when she graduates next year so we got all excited about our future plans, and then today she said that instead of renting she'll buy a house and we (her friend Laura who also wants to live in Hawaii) could split the morgage payments and then it'll be a vacation home..
anyway, thats all for now

Update!

Aloha,
So when I started using this blog, it was for a class but I've decided to use it again on a personal level.  I have a xanga blog, but its not as convenient as blogger is when in comes to posting videos and pictures.. anyway, I will (God willing) be moving to Hawaii soon, so I've made this blog to track down the journey... Next Saturday is GRADUATION DAY and the day after I leave for Hawaii! (con Dios adelante of course).  First to work at the summer camp I've worked on for the past two summers and then God willing to stay working at a pre-school or as a high-school Spanish teacher.. God's will be done, I hope it does work out, I love it there.. I am currently listening to "Write me a Letter" -Maoli it so reminds me of Hawaii... OK well that's all for now, will keep you posted on any new news...

I AM A NEWBIE VEGETARIAN...

SO ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO I WENT TO SEE A DOMINICAN REPUBLIC FILM ENTITLED, "LA SOGA" (THE ROPE) THE FILM WAS GOOD, NOT REALLY MY STYLE BUT IT WAS WELL DONE.  HOWEVER THE MAIN CHARACTER WAS THE SON OF A BUTCHER AND AT ONE POINT IN THE MOVIE HE KILLED A PIG IN A VERY HARSH WAY. I WAS ABOUT TO GET UP AND THROW UP WHEN I SAW THAT, I TOTALLY FELT SICK.  SINCE THEN I TOLD MY MOTHER THAT I WAS NO LONGER EATING MEAT.  SHE THOUGHT I WAS SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE TEMPORARY AND HONESTLY I DID TOO.  BUT IT'S MOTH TWO AND I AM GOING STRONG.  I REALLY LOVE IT, I STILL EAT SEA FOOD WHICH MAKES MY MENUE A BIT BROADER.  AND I LOVE SUBSTITUTING MEAT WITH MUSHROOMS OR EGG PLANTS.  AND I LOVE VEGGIE BURGERS...

Winter Break Plans

I know its really early to be thinking out winter break but... its the perfect time to plan a trip.  So like I said before I love to travel, last winter break me and my friend Lindy from Nebraska went to visit our friend Tamber in Los Angeles, California.  We all met in Hawaii working at camp.  We spent a week there and it was so much fun, we loved it.  So we are planning to do the same this winter break, and my friend SJ from Hawaii is in Colorado for school and she'll join us in Los Angeles so that should be a blast.  Each one of those girls are so fun and funny, it'll be a good time.  I think that what I like best about them is that we can all just truly be ourselfs, we are loud and crazy but in the best way possible.  None of us drink or do things of the source, so it's good to have a bond build on Christ.  Everynight in LA last winter break we would end the day with a devotional. Well there are some pics of last winter break with Tamber and Lindy.
